Nothing should be too surprising as Owens details all the algorithms conspiring against us. That might be part of the problem. We’ve been lulled into a stupor about companies taking advantage of us. This book is just one step toward leveling the playing field while waiting for Congress (hahahahahahaha) to look out for the people who put them in power.
The book is enraging, funny, and short. It’s only about 180 pages of narrative (with some wonderful references) and is an easy read. This is exactly the book you want based on how it is presented. IMAGINE THAT! Truth in advertising for ONCE!
