My Take on Lover Stalker Killer:
Listen, we know why you are here right now. You love true crime. People have been talking around the water cooler about this one. You want to know if this needs to be on your weekend watch list.
The answer is yes.
The setup is simple. A mechanic named Dave just got divorced and is now back out on the prowl. He’s a totally average guy, trying to move on with his life, trying to be a good dad, and now wants some fun. He finds it! He goes out on a few dates. Then suddenly, the woman he is seeing decides she was being led on. This is the start of her terror campaign against poor Dave and anyone around him.
No spoilers. The police get involved (and holy hell wait until the see the wardrobe choices on one of the cops). Things escalate.
You will do what I did and what a lot of people did while watching this. Turn to your significant other, sigh deeply, and say thank —-ing God I don’t have to date anymore.
And if you don’t have a significant other…be careful out there, friend. We’re all rooting for you.
